here we go, which game has more total control over the players on the field? Which game has better ball-control?

Don't get me wrong, this is not a poll for which game is better, but just which one has the best control over the game!

let's vote, add replays, videos, example etc. etc. [SM=g27837]

    Kick Off 2 replays
Kick Off 2 is honestly a masterpeace, and without doubt one of the most complex football game ever create, here we have the best goals scored (and recorded) in Kick Off 2 World Cups, where the anxiety for the result is making it harder for players to score fantastic goals, and therefore any spectacular move is much more significant than a simple game against the Amiga.
So, I watched all the world cup matches we have and came up with a sum of 13 goals.

    HIGH QUALITY (8,63MB)

    LOW QUALITY (1,48MB)

(thanks to Alkis for the hard work.)

I voted for Total Soccer naturally :)
Total Soccer offers excellent control of player and events on the pitch.
You can do EVERYTHING like powerful shots, spinned shots, lob shots, perfect tackles, fantastic dribblings and tricks, side headed headers, even YOU CAN DO THE BOUNCING UP BALL IN POSITION!
And YOU HAVE THE TOTAL CONTROL OF ALL THIS STUFF!
You can do everything whatever you imagine!
First I show my replays from 2002-06-12 to 2004-05-05.
There are 64 replays contains goals, brutal fouls, strange and silly situations :)
    ENYOJ WATCHING!!

oh what a great game is Total soccer 2000!! I love it!
But in your replays there're only 2 kind of goals:

    1. long pass from left/right to the penalty area and then shoot to goal.
    2. Goals with shoots from outside area

    stop

I mean, in your replay I can't see dribblings, the player move always straight to the penalty area! they only run straight! No exciting driblings like in Kick Off!

I don't know if it's because you're used to play on this way, But I see much more freedom and control over the player in Kick Off now.

Yes, but these replays are very old(newest is from may 2004). However LOOK AGAIN on these side headed headers after (boring-you're right) crosses. And look again at all replays if you watch it carefully you'll see some great moves.
I will put another movie with replays soon.

    And one more...
In Kick Off you can shot only in 8 directions, in Total Soccer you can kick the ball in all REAL possible directions. It seems that it's impossible with only directional keys but IT'S TRUE!
In Kick Off you are kicking the ball and you're adding spin after touch. In Total Soccer is one more phase in shot. After touch you can change the direction of the ball, but remember it's quite difficult because YOU MUST FEEL IT and you have a very short time to do it.

I think you have to try play Total Soccer more often and play with other player (not the computer) or with "dead" opponent(2 player game but you play alone to training) and you will dicover what really Total is offering to you.

I admit the header in Total Soccer 2000 are impressive and superior to Kick Off 2.
But you've to admit Kick Off 2 is superior with dribblig moves, at least from this replays!

Ok I'll try more deeply TS2000 and you'll have to try KO2, ok??
BTW TS2000 is really great game, like kick off it needs just few fixs with few annoying bugs to be perfect! [SM=g27835] [SM=g27828]

I guarantee - dribbling in total soccer isn't worse than dribbling in kick off. Just play and gain the experience :)
